Ohio Tax Hall of Fame

The late Roger Tracy, who served as Tax Commissioner from 1991-1998, was the 2011 honoree of the Ohio Tax Hall of Fame.

 

The Ohio State and Local Tax Hall of Fame is a joint effort of the Ohio Department of Taxation and the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. The Hall of Fame was created in 2001 to acknowledge the efforts of those individuals who have significantly contributed to the development, administration or operation of Ohio’s state tax system.

Honorees have served in both the public and private sectors. They range from tax administrators and elected officials to attorneys and practitioners. An individual is honored each January at the annual Ohio Tax Conference, held in Columbus.
